Remote Support
Freelance Computers offer a secure "Remote Support Service" which is carried out over the Internet, this allows us to connect to your PC as if we were actually sitting in front of the PC in your home/office.
In order to allow us to connect to your PC securely you are required to run a small software application, which is downloaded from our website and looks like the image to the left when running.
This service is charged by the minute and equates to our standard hourly rate.
Instructions on how to run our Remote Support Application
Please click on the image to your left to start the download, a box will appear asking you to 'Save' or 'Run' the application, choose 'Run', once downloaded you will then be asked again to 'Run' the application which is supplied to us by Teamviewer, click 'Run' and then after about 10 - 20 seconds you will be given a unique ID number which will allow us to connect to your PC.
If you prefer you can have our Remote Support Host service installed onto your PC so that the software is running all the time, this will allow us to log into your PC without you first having to run the remote support software and is suitable for carrying out support out of office hours
